Project roles:
- Lead a team of specialists to create a Proof of Concept for a scalable Open Source search engine and manage the project to bring the POC into production. Elasticsearch, Nutch, Zero Maintenance Middleware.
- Management consultant tasked with assessing Content Management capabilities within an organization.
- Architect/interim scrum master www.ondernemersplein.nl – Responsible for getting the architects of three governmental organizations to support the same solution stack. Created a technical design which enabled the creation of a sizable content aggregation website within 4 months. Drawing content from 4 different governmental websites (Drupal, Sharepoint, Tridion and Drupal) into Tridion and automatically matching it to a new taxonomy. SDL Tridion, C#, Google Search Appliance.
- Scrum master during major release of client’s website. Integrating webservices and payment module. I lead the team and was responsible for the architectural aspects of the integration. Increased the conversion of the affected product by 25%. SDL Tridion, C#, SOA, WSDL, Google Aanalytics E-commerce.
2008 – 2011: Senior consultant @ Deloitte consulting

Project roles:
- Scrum master in a team integrating webservices, social media and adding other improvements to a high profile website. C#, jquery, Telligent community server, Google Search Appliance
- SDL Tridion SME: I found and fixed an issue within 3 days that had faced the client for 3 years. My personal eminence was responsible for initial contact.
- Architect/developer during a major redesign of a clients website. C#, .NET
- Proposed a new content delivery strategy for a company struggling to manage their SDL Tridion based website. A new client contacted me through my blog. During my interviews with the client I found they were using Excel to manage their content.
- Architect and teamlead for an effort to re-implement a badly implemented SDL Tridion based website. The aim was to improve the speed at which the content managers could see their changes take effect. I was responsible for convincing the client that this would be cost effective and possible. We reduced the amount of time it took for changes to become visible from a minimum of 10 minutes to a maximum of 20 seconds.

2006 – 2008: Consultant @ Deloitte consulting
Responsibilities:

Project roles:
- Webdeveloper responsible for creating a community for entrepreneurs. Responsible for the tool selection and customizations. First project where we used the agile scrum approach. The community still receives high honors in the press and is used as an example of setting up a succesfull community at universities. One of the succes factors was that the profiles of this community ranked above LinkedIn. C#, .NET, Telligent community server.
- SDL Tridion SME within Deloitte. As SME I was asked to jump start the first SDL Tridion project run by Deloitte US. During this engagement I drafted the first best practices and helped the project team understand the intricacies of running a Tridion project.
- Project lead for the implementation and re-design of a webshop. The goal was to improve the usability of the shop. Complicating factor was the legacy CRM interface for which there was no description or other knowledge available. I was responsible for both the technical implementation as managing the somewhat large number of stakeholders. This project, in combination the one below, resulted in a 70% increase in conversion. C#, .NET, javascript, CSS, wireframe, Market Maker.
- Webdeveloper responsible for creating a way to manage the large number of seminars a client was offering online. C#, .NET, SEO, SDL Tridion.
- Issue manager/SDL Tridion architect. A very prominent company failed to implement a Tridion based website and missed hugely on both time and budget. I was responsible for defining solutions to the problems facing the project. The problems were caused by a rediculously bad
